Are contact details available in the booklet?

Yes, we provide contact details on purchase of the booklet. Contact details include the name of the boy, phone number and/or email id of the boy or his parents.

When I click on photo gallery, it tells me to purchase the booklet?

Photo gallery is only available to members who have subscribed to the booklet.

Does the booklet have profiles of Girls also?

We have a separate Booklet for Girls. Their profiles are not included in the same booklet as that of Men.

How do I see the details of the boy whose SMS I received on 11th Feb, 2012?

On the home page of our website, we keep all the SMS sent age-wise, and date-wise. If the SMS was from the 26-30 years old men booklet, then please go to the 26-30 tab, and look for 11-Feb-2012. You will see the text of the SMS that was sent to you. Next to the text is the 'View Details' link. Please click on the link, and you should be able to see the detailed profile of the boy and his photo also (if available) except contact details. Contact details are made available on subscribing to the booklet.

What are the different age groups for which the Boys booklet is available?

We have one booklet of Boys 26 to 30 years old, and the other of Boys 29-35 years old.

Why is there an overlap of 2 years in the 2 booklets?

We have an overlap of 2 years so that parents do not have to buy both the booklets to satisfy the age criteria that they are looking at.

My daughter is 28 years old? Which age group booklet should I buy?

If your daughter is 28 years old, please subscribe to the 29-35 age group booklet, as this booklet will have all boys elder to your daughter. The 26-30 years old booklet will have about 40-50% boys younger than your daughter.

My daughter is 28 years old? I am looking for a boy who is 27-29 years old. Is that OK?

No, it is not OK. Age-wise, their is a huge gap between the expectations of the parents of girls and boys. Though parents of girls want a boy who is their daughter's age or at the most 1.5 years elder to her, parents of boys always look for a girl who is about 1 to 3.5 years younger to their son.

I have paid for the booklet, but I still can not see the contact details in the booklet. Why?

The booklet that you have subscribed to is available under the 'Purchased Booklets'. This list is on the right side of the page. On the left you see other booklets of the same age group that you have not subscribed to. These booklets do not have the contact details available.

I had purchased last month's booklet. How do I see this month's booklet before purchasing it?

Please login using your username and password. The latest booklet (without contact details) will be available on the left side on the 'Booklets List' page.

How do I see the sample of the booklet?

On the home page, next to the Brides photo, there is a link to see the Sample Booklet (Booklet without contact details). You have to provide your name, phone number, e-mail id, and the Girls age to reigster. Once you register, we display the 3 most recent age appropriate Boys booklet to you.

How will you know that I have deposited money in your account?

Please get the transaction Id (Mxxxxxx) or reference nbr when you make the payment. This uniquely identifies your payment. You need to either email or call us to provide us the transaction id/ reference nbr so that we can confirm your payment.

Does the booklet have boys of all castes?

No, the booklet has only Arora and Khatri boys.

Do you have profiles of boys who are living abroad?

Yes, we do have such profiles. In the 'Others' section of the booklet, we have about 15-25 NRI profiles.

How many profiles are there in the booklet?

The booklet of 26 to 30 years old boys has approximately 150 profiles in each edition. The booklet of 29-35 years old has roughly 125 profiles in each edition.

What is the frequency of the booklet? How often is it published?

The booklets are monthly publications - published every month around 20th to 23rd of the month.

If I subscribe for 4 months, will most of the profiles be same in the 4 booklets?

No. we do not repeat profiles during you 4 month subscription period. Every booklet will have totally new profiles. So, if you are subscribing for 4 months of 26 to 30 years boys booklet, you will get approximately 600 profiles during your subscription period.

Do you accept credit/debit cards or online payments?

Yes, we do accept credit and debit cards. Our credit card processor charges in US dollars, so the payment amount that gets charged to your card will be slightly different from the booklet subscription charges (depending on the conversion rate for the day). If you use online banking, then you can make online payment to our account by adding 'Crest Digital' as a payee.

What is the success rate?

About 8 to 10 marriages get fixed every month which is decent success rate considering the fact we cater to a very limited section of the society.

Are the profiles in the booklets genuine?

Yes all the profiles are genuine. There are no fake telephone numbers, or email ids.

What if I purchase the booklet and find more than 50% boys are already engaged/married?

All the profiles in the booklet are fresh. Before publishing the profile in the booklet, we confirm with them that they are still actively looking. for a match.

Do you have profiles from all over India or Delhi-NCR only?

Most of our profiles are from Delhi-NCR, Punjab, Chandigarh, and Haryana, basically North India. Only about 25% profiles are from other parts of India.

Where all do you have your centers?

We have only one office in Gurgaon, Haryana. We do not have any branches or franchise offices.

I am living in Delhi. Can you send somebody to collect the payment and deliver the booklet?

We are more than happy to do that for you free of charge if you subscribe to the booklet for 4 months. For a single booklet, we do not offer that service.

I want to get my daughter's profile published in your booklet. How do I do that?

Please email your daughter's biodata, photo (optional), and the contact details that you want to be published in the booklet to biodata@shubhshaadi.co.in. If you purchase our Boys booklet, then we publish the profile free of charge, otherwise there is a nominal fee for this.

Once I make the payment, which booklet will I receive?

You can specify which booklet you want. Once we have the information, access is given to you accordingly.

How long will it take after making the payment to get access to the online booklet?

Online access to the booklet is given the very same day that you make your cash payment. In case of check deposit to our account, online access is given the day the check appears in 'Float Balance'. In case of a check couriered to our office, online access is given the day we receive the check. We do not wait for the check to be cleared.

When will the booklet be couriered to me after making the payment?

Booklet is couriered the very same day that you make your cash payment, provided the payment is made before 3 in the afternoon. If payment is made after 3 PM, or on a non-business day, then booklet is couriered the next working day.

what are your charges on the marriage getting fixed?

We do not have any settlement fees, and do not charge anything once the marriage is fixed. The only payment you have to make is the cost of subscribing to the booklet.

Do you also arrange for meetings between the two sides?

No, we do not arrange meetings between the two sides. Since you get the contact details of the boy's family directly in the booklet, you can talk to them without any intermediary.

Do you accept Cash On Delivery (COD) orders?

We do not have COD facility. Either online payment (using credit/debit card) or payment to our ICICI Bank account has to be made. Printed booklet is couriered to the address provided by you after we receive your payment and other details.
